Pets Welcome

We love to take our dog with us where ever we go, but sometimes it can be difficult to find somewhere nice that is happy to have our little furry family member too.

can I come on holidays too!

So we decided to create our own – a place called
Wattle Cottage where doggie guests can:-

  • enjoy long walks and smell the fresh country air
  • curl up in front of a lovely warm fire inside the cottage
  • sit outside and enjoy the views
  • run and fetch sticks and balls on the large grassy lawn
  • spend the night in front of the outdoor fire star gazing
  • crash out on the sunny north facing front porch
  • go in and out of the cottage anytime you like via the doggie door
  • run around the cottage without fear of getting lost (fully fenced)
  • go for a dip at  lake lyell a very short drive away  or  dam on the property
  • sniff and smell all sorts of amazing things
  • Go to a local cafe or pub and enjoy a day out with the humans
  • See some local wildlife – kangaroos, echidna, wombats, birds
  • Visit a special doggie store in Leura and get a surprise present

Please read terms and conditions – bond & pets  in regard to what we expect from pet owners if they do decide to stay.

The Blue Mountains towns are doggie friendly – but you are not allowed to take them into the National Parks or to the Jenolan Caves.

We have lovely walks on the property and some thru the surrounding countryside like the old Cob and Co route, plus great walks around the property and another which takes you down to the bottom of the valley to Jocks creek.

If you are not feeling energetic just do the loop road along our driveway aprox 1km long.
